I have just struck gold!
That would be the exclamation someone would say when he's made a highly fortunate discovery. When people find gold, they would so rejoice at this first unique discovery and celebrate it. It is not everyday that a gold digger finds it, but when he does, there is so much excitement, especially for the first time. That land becomes a goldmine and everybody would want to have a stake on it.
However when the gold seeker makes a second discovery, he would tend to hide it and keep the information to himself.
Finding gold is like finding something of high value and uniqueness, you don't just see it on the streets or gutters.. It is not something that falls down from the sky like rain. It is rare and not everyone can find it. Perhaps it's due to the fewer competitors and how secretive they would like their know-how to remain that skyrockets the price of gold so much.
Finding gold in Nigeria is like finding a niche and in Nigeria, there are lots of undiscovered niches. A niche is something that is needed to satisfy customer needs but which can be provided only by you or a few people.
When I say, there is gold in Nigeria, I am speaking metaphorically. The developed markets like the USA and the UK are almost saturated with niches but in Nigeria, there are lots of them waiting to be discovered and it would sell like gold. Imagine there are billionaires who are already making money in Nigeria by just branding imported products.
There are many other sectors where there is gold waiting to be discovered such as;- Online directories
- Online advertisement
- Blogging
- Mobile content
- Solar power generationThere are just lots of them but not everyone has got the know-how or how to supply them to people, but as someone who believes in Nigeria and with the right knowledge, you too can find your own gold and become the primary provider. Dig for gold in Nigeria!

In Reply to Gold in Nigeria Very inspiring piece of write up. There's much to be discovered in Nigeria but it takes people to believe that they can do it in the first place
