Being in power has its advantages s well as some disadvantages but overall, being in power is what all men crave for. Oh, did I hear you exclude yourself? Think of it, it may not be political power but it could be in your immediate family, you want more control over your activities. It could be in the salon, you want your hairdresser to make your hair in a way that would suit you and not the opposite. It could be in your car, you want to be the only once in charge of your lane and not letting anyone cross or overtake you. It could be in your school, you want more respect and to be allowed more freedom to do what you want. It could be in the church, if you are the typical church goer and society or ministry member, you want to be in charge of a post of office. It could equally be in the TV room when watching it with your family; you want to be the one in charge of the remote control. Everyone craves for power but not everyone has it at the same time although it would certainly come. How we handle power when we achieve it is what matters. President Yaradua is Nigeria's current president and he is having a hard time doing the job with some few elite supporters as well as many other people mostly in the Niger-Delta raining curses on him even with Asari Dokubo making it seem like a Hausa/Fulani vs. South-South enmity when he called them Parasites for their overdependence on their coil. It's not easy being in power and making the right decisions and you would have thought that it was when you attained that position would you e able to do more things easily. More power comes with more responsibility and more power calls for more restraint in making mistakes which could have wider consequences on the society.
