Students had been groaning for quite a long time for its release and some were saying that WAEC was under-performing when compared to NECO in the release of SSCE results which WAEC did before the latter. NECO has already released the results even though it did its exams a month after WAEC.
A lot of WAEC candidates had waited eagerly for its release and although it was officially announced a few weeks ago, it was not readily available online for checking at the WAEC result. Now that the results have been made available, they've been series of complaints of withheld results and poor outcomes. WAEC has officially expressed dissatisfaction with the students' performance because it was generally poor. This is a huge setback for many who had been waiting for its release so as to secure their way into the Nigerian Universities now that school calendars have been overstretched from the unending ASUU strike.
Well, it's not enough for WAEC results to have been released, WAECC also has to find a way to enhance students performance which has been seen to be dwindling over many years now and a lot of them seem to be developing a soft spot for NECO.
