When I listen to the song "Apologize" by One Republic, the huge losses that I, with the whole lot of Nigerian investors suffered at the Nigerian stock market gets refreshed in my memory. It seems as if we are the ones singing this song to Nigeria's capital market who on the other hand is trying to apologize for such looses so far and wants us to still keep on investing. Isn't it too little, too late, to apologize? The harm has already been done and I don't think this generation of Nigerians would easily forgive and forget the tragedy they experienced at the capital market.
So, I'm like saying, "It's too late to apologize, it's too late".
Why would anyone want to take a gamble again? So it was all a fluke? If you're told that your investments in the capital market is worth a million naira, don't rest just yet, within 6 months, it could turn to N100,000!
There are already a couple of finance and stock brokering offices which I know really don't have anything doing in their offices again other than wearing coats to gist at work, the market is slow and full time investors are thinking "part time".
What really happened to Nigeria's blossoming stock market? How I wish I had sold all my investments when the going was good.
Well I guess it's too late now, to diversify and too late to receive any apologies from anyone.

But it will be hard for some people with big money to just diversify. I think the most affected are retired persons who used most of their savings in the stock market. Those who are still making money will always want to keep on investing and become market movers. In the long run, it can favour the current investment. Now is the right time to invest cos initially the market was overpriced
