Based on the results we got from respondents on the poll - "What is The most profitable form of Investment in Nigeria?", Telecoms emerged as the winner based on people's opinion about the sector.
On my own, I would say that it is not that far from the truth given that the Telecoms sector has really transformed the way people think, talk or live their lives. It has contributed even to reducing the level of unemployment in the country and has made a lot of people have richer lives.
The closest sector that came second in the poll was Real estate and I guess that given the increasing rate of urban drift and population as well as bad experiences investors went through at the Capital market, Real estate came second with Education and Manufacturing coming loser in 3rd and fourth places
Funny enough, the Capital market came last in the poll and I am worried that Nigerians may have lost total confidence in that sector. I would like to conduct a poll in that regard to see if Nigerians still believe in investing in the capital market any time soon.
