Well, he is already the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria but qhat I am saying is what if Jonathan Goodluck becomes president again in 2011 after the elections? What if he contests? I he contests, what if he wins? If he wins, what will happen in Nigeria?
A lot of people have been talking about zoning, the elite, Lang-tang mafia, IBB, Buhari, Obasanjo, Niger Delta and Nigeria's future.
While Yaradua was alive, a lot of people did not think that Jonathan would become president but when he became president, people are already talking about 2011 and that he should contest again.
However, the truth is that, if Jonathan contests the 2011 election, he is most likely to win, because presently he is the most popular unofficial candidate.
If he decides to leave office now in order to sort of keep a good and honorable name in order to contest again, that could be a political mistake.
What if Jonathan finally contests and wins the 2011 elections in a free and fair environment and by a very clear margin, what will happen in Nigeria?
Will there be peace? Will majority of people be happy? How would it affect PDP and Nigeria's politics? Will that be the end of godfatherism and old men in government?
