The General elections have come around the corner once again in Nigeria and this would be a test of our nation's fledging democracy. How would it be? Who will be the winners and who would eventually become losers? The PDP is the most popular and ruling party currently with the other parties like the ANPP, AC, APGA trailing each other in that order. A new party, the CPC also seems to be taking more steam away from the ANPP as it has seen a growing pool of supporters and members decamping to the party.
When it has to do with the office of the President, the PDP has already given its blessing to the incumbent Jonathan who floored Atiku at the last PDP primaries at Abuja in January 2011 and this makes him most probable to be Nigeria's next president. Also, the CPC has presented former General Buhari(who was overthrown in a coup) as her presidential candidate, while for the AC, it is the former and pioneer EFCC chairman Nuhu Ribadu, Shekerau for ANPP and so on. Business is booming in Abuja and the nation as a whole as politicians have started lobbying for wins.
We can't also rule out the fact that recent violence in Nigeria has somewhat related to politics. What's your take on Nigeria's election year? What are your thoughts for the 2011 general elections?

There is no single difference in what is going to happen in Nigeria 2011 election and what had happened previously, period!!!We are very sure that, as Nigerians, the only way out is to eliminate all those posing stumbling blocks to the development of this nation and thereby strangulating and threatening the existence of over 150 Million population of this nation.Only fools will still have hope in the Nigerian useless and deceitful type of democracy, no matter what any politician, any party promises to do during his /her campaign.Clearly speaking its the youths and responsible elders that can seize the stirring of this Nation from the secret cults caucuses of this country hiding under the umbrella of one political party or the other, who are still holding the country and the people into
ransom. It is to be noted that-(1) All the lists of corrupts leaders and individuals in the hand Of the Nigerian toothless bull dog- the EFCC- SHALL BE UTILIZED. (2)All corrupt politicians and individuals whose names are not on the lists- SHALL BE INCLUDED.(3)The so-called political god- fathers across the country-SHALL NOT BE LEFT OUT. Until the above is done, BY GOD,Nigerians shall continue to move from frying pan to fire. This is the bitter truth-Okonjo said it earlier, Waziri Farida said similar thing, late general Idiagbaon also said it before his demise. NILLY WILLY IT SHALL BE DONE!!!

The true test of how free and fair the elections are will be decided by the outcome of the governorship elections which would portray the desperation of our governors and can make or mar the whole process if the candidates of the people are rigged out by the incumbents and other corrupt elements in the Nigeria electoral system. Nigeria, if care is not taken may be heading towards a repeat of Egypt and Tunisia if the legitmate and people chosen winners are denied their mandates. the rigging in norther nigeria was monumental.tribal /community leaders forced their subjects to vote for buhari or face banishment or death.over 200,000 southerners in bauchi state was de-franchised because of the tensed atmosphere in the state which resulted in the death of over 10 corpers and many others in the state.there was basically no election in all the northern nigeria.as far as am concerned, the rigging and manipulation in the north cannot be compared with that of the south.
malam buhari should go and rest cos he is just qualified to be president of northern tugs/jihadists and not a national president.

Re: Nigeria's 2011 General elections: Your thoughts Posted by on May 18, 2011 at 08:20:17: This Bakare is a Pentecostal pastor by words of mouth but a muslim by heart; not just a muslim but the jihadist, terrorist type.nigerians never really knew his real character. he has been busy implanting jihadist messages into christianity. he has been sponsoring pastors into different countries.he was busy castigating Prophet TB Joshua but he has been jointly responsible for the roasting of Nigerians after the elections in the north of that country. What kind of pastor would form a political alliance with the demonic Buhari who has been identified as a jihad-monger in nigeria for decades? he knew Buhari and preached against him.this same Bakare castigated and insulted Babangida using the Holy Bible as a cover-up. no nigerian leader has been spared by him but now he has joined people to burn down churches, kill, maim and roast people as seen on TV. he joined in preparing and sponsoring the bombs which exploded in nigeria killing fresh graduates.how will he atone for his joint sins before God? What would he be preaching? Why should the world listen to a devil in pastors cassock?if nigeria keeps producing this brand of preachers, the doom is near.no wonder, the devil has infiltrated the church with sweet words. the leopard cant't change its spots. Bakare was not, is not and never would be a christian let alone a pastor.if you have children and you partnered with the devil to murder other peoples children, rendering their parents childless, what about your children - where would you hide them?your favorite quote to Babangida, et al? ....the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel...so all the acts of mercy and supposed love you have been rendering to people in the past was for their blood?all pastores trained and sponsored by Bakare should think again. any nigerian planning to invite him back to our country (South Africa) should get ready for action; and i mean action. we don't welcome a murderer-pastor here.the blood of the slain and roasted, the cry of the children rendered parentless, the cries from the burnt churches, parents rendered deprived of theri children after graduating from a university in Nigeria, etc are seriously asking for revenge.Moses was never forgiven by God because he knew better; think of yourself Bakare.

Prophet TB Joshua was nothing before him. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was washed off by him. Now he partnered with the demonic Buhari to kill, slaughter, maim and burn people alive. he organised and joined a party that burnt churches - what a pastor burning down churches!what of the blood of the slain, the cries of the children rendered parentless, what of the parents deprieved of the wards whom they sponsored through university only to be wasted by the Buha-Bake (or BuBa)bombs. Sanni Abacha was not this bad.the blood of the slain is crying for judgement before God.Bakare was never a christain. he was born a muslim and his late mother was a fanatical muslim woman (from research). do you have children? where will you hide from the judgement that is coming?i pity the pastors trained by this person. i pity the churches sponsored by Bakare in different countries of the world. these pastors need to be delivered from the spirit of their master. they sold their lifes for money.have you forgotten your favourite quote to Babangida, et al? ...the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel... why did you leave the Reddemed Christian church of God? why did you leave Deeper Christian Life Ministry? the leopard can never change its spots. this election has showcased the real you and also delivered nigerians from you.you have partnered with the devil to shed the blood of the innocent. you have joined in burning down churches and peoples properties. think again.any nigerian pastor in south africa planning to invite you here should be ready for action. we do not tolerate a muderer-pastor in our land. we know you and we are watching the airport for you. he that lives by the sword...., he that lives by deceit...., so this your reason for helping people with the monies from terrorists. how would you ever explain this singular act of yours?the eloquent, charismatic Tunde bakare. the trained Barister. the philantropic pastor. the anti-military dictator fighting against Babangida, Abacha &co. Pastor benevolent.the evil that men do lives after them. you were never in Christ and therefore was never a new creature and your old things never passed away. you were never an anointed so anybody can touch you, former saul, the rejected one.the Church should Watch Out.

The conduct of the electorates, security personnel as well as INEC's adhoc staff is highly commendable. It is a change from the way elections were been held to a positive mindset of the electorate. In Jos were i participated in the voting process, everything was well co-ordinated as people came out massively to vote & their votes counted
from the Presidential, national Assembly, gubernatorial& state house of assembly elections. People were visibly happy with the outcome, as people jubilated upon results' announcements. Despite the first botched election, people still had faith & confident in INEC. I wish to appreciate INEC,security personnel, media, journalists, electorates for their conduct during the election. Above all federal government for providing INEC with sufficent logistics for the general election. Losers should accept defeat in spirit of sportsmanship & winner should embrace losers & work harmoniously with them, provide the dividend of democracy to the populace. Thank you.
