There is a lot of campaign in the air right now and I just have to ask my phone company this question - How do I prevent unsolicited text messages?
There are a lot of text messages being sent now in Nigeria to people from what seems to be bulk one way sms accounts and you can't help imagining where exactly it came from or how they got your number. It could be from the bank, your customer base, friends on Facebook, INEC database or just somewhere else. I already have about 3 text messages from different groups such as Why D lies, LagosVoters, WATS D FUSS and I have not subscribed to receive such text messages. Now talking about political rhetorics and there are quite a lot of them now as being used by different political parties and campaigns:From political parties that seek for Igbo votes, I hear these ones:
ebe esere Ebele binyere ya aka : vote for Ebele(PDP)
ebe esere aziza, binyere ya aka: vote for the broom(ACN)
ebe esere okuko, binyere ya aka: Vote for the cock(APGA)Campaign by ACN for Lagos state:
Eko o ni baje: Lagos no go spoilAftermath of Jega's postponement:
Nigeria Jega-Jega
Election scatter-scatter
Voters dey suffer-suffer
Gbosa-GbosaChant by CPC supporters:
Sai Buhari! If you know of any other rhetorics or political jingles that has caught your attention, you could share them here.
