I already thing that enough blood has been poured on the Nigerian soil but it seems politicians are already predicting that the worse is not over.
Acccording to a newpaper report, the former presidential candidate of the CPC, who came second in the last presidential race against PDP, Muhammadu Buhari(rtd. General) has said that the 2015 general elections would be bloody if the ruling party goes ahead to rig the elections again.
Now, no right thinking Nigerian really supports the rigging of elections since it will be a defeat of democratic ideals but it that sufficient to say it will be bloody? I mean, we should learn to show some respect for the people who have died from electoral violence in the north.According to Buhari,
“Except there is justice in the conduct of the elections, blood will flow because there will be bloodshed between the dogs and the baboons”.
Well, everyone who wants what is good for Nigeria really prefers a free and fair election and not one that is rigged by those in office.
During the last election that brought Jonathan in power after winning a decisive vote in most northern states and south, violence broke out in most pro-Buhari states and it only ended up killing many people. I hope 2015 would be better and not worse because we just don't know how long Nigeria will continue to survive with all these evil
