Update: This has been confirmed as untrue by the governor of Bauchi as well as the police. Some online media and newspapers had earlier reported it. There has been a reported bomb blast at an NYSC orientation camp at Bauchi - one of the northern states that has had some serious terrorist attacks. Personally, I don't see any reason why the NYSC still went ahead in posting young people and strangers too to states in the north when there know the terror level is high. The camp in question is said to be located at KM 60 Wailo Express Road, Ganjuwa LGA in Bauchi State. Already, there is a lot of confusion as residents and corpers don't know what to expect next. Reports coming in already say that over 50 people had died as a result of the attack but we are not sure of their identities. We are not yet sure who is responsible for this attack but it is suspected to be the work of terrorist organisations like Boko Haram which had been terrorising northern states like Bauchi in the past.On the 26th of June 2012, as was reported by the Punch, about 12 people were killed while over 15 were injured in a terrorist bomb attack on a church.
