According to reports in newspapers, it is said that Buhari was waiting for 2015 again but I'm not sure he meant he will run. The former General may not be qualified to run if he intends to since he would be 70 by December 2012 and by 2015 he would be 73 years. Unless he meant he would support a CPC candidate like maybe Ribadu or someone else.
The Nigerian constitution has an age limit requirement for anyone vying for public office like the president and I guess 70 years is the limit or am I wrong? Well if Buhari does intend to run, it may be a hard but possible task once again for the PDP to win. He is the closest rival for the ruling party most especially in the north.Perhaps this is all really divide and rule politics if the PDP allow Buhari to run and ACN present their own candidate in the South west, in the end, the PDP wins by breaking up votes for opposition parties but carrying the largest votes. It's a funny country.
