Our Super Eagles are no longer Super and that's really how it seems or what can we call the dismal performance on Nigerian soil in Abuja when we really needed a win against the Guineans who don't have a better track record than Nigeria when it comes to African or world football. What really happened? We cannot say but it seems we have lost the magic. Nowadays, discussing issues concerning Nigerian football doesn't seem interesting anymore as it tends to bring up stories of losses that would end up spoiling your mood. Call it football spirit, we all do have it and the way our Super chickens have been performing for sometime now has not really been encouraging.
Was it Siasia's fault? Maybe it was bad coaching but someone has to be blamed. There is this saying that "humans are always responsible for the misfortunes that affects them" and so someone really has to be blamed for that poor performance. Someone or a group of people did not do their job well and that's probably why the Super Eagles allowed the Guineans to keep scoring against us. As the days before the match approached, most Super eagles fans already saw it as a walkover whether home or away but the day turned sour and the Guineans made merry over our defeat. Oh Siasia, where are you? What do you have to say? If Nigeria cannot be good at African football, what else can we do?What do you think? Should Siasia be sacked or not? Do you think it is better for one man to be punished so that the nation's football may be saved or the nation's game perish for the sake of retaining one man?

He should not be sacked lets just give him more time to build the supereagles that we didnt qualify for Nations cup shouldnt be the end of the road for him. Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by Commander on October 20, 2011 at 00:02:28: Siasia's sack is long overdue, besides we nigerians like Creating tention! If siasia actually andorsed the said qulification agreement and he fail, why cant the relevant quarters take its deserving action than creating an unnecessary tension.
Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by victor udeh on October 16, 2011 at 06:28:55: i dont feel that siasia should be sacked. the problem stems from the players. We all have to be united,to be able to achieve our objective.

I think Siasia should be sacked immediately. He was given so much yet failled the Nation when it matters most.
Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by David Azimohor on October 21, 2011 at 13:52:39: The problem is not the coach. We all have eyes and we can see that the players were not too involved in the match. Mikel sold out the match against Argentina with his sluggish attitude, Osaze did the same that made us not to get the ticket. In my own opinion I WANT TO SAY SIASIA SHOULD STAY.Rome was not built in one day.

NO!!.Honestly, he is a very good coach. Let's put sentiment away and move our football forward by allowing continuity pls. Afterall they say every disappointment is a blessing. Let us not tell God that we ONLY want success without which the coach must go.Allow Siasia bcos l have faith we will arrive there with him in charge.NFF pls listen to football loving Nigerians.
Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by Gungfa Nimdul on October 25, 2011 at 00:04:56: No pls. A careful analysis will show Siasia has done well. He has improve the playing pattern to a level that gives hope. Let him continue pls NFF.The contract was man made and can be considered pls. There is HOPE in him Pls.Technical committee listen to Nigerians, this constant changes, what has Nigeria benefitted from it? Don't for selfish and personal reasons, go for a foreigner. Nigerians are capable, hence Siasia should be given a chance pls

Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by Samson Dada on October 26, 2011 at 10:56:43: Not at all. Nigerians want magicians not only on the pitch but on the pulpit. We deceive ourselves.

The problem the Nigerian football team is having today did not just start yesterday.therefore, if the problems took much time to accumulate; more time should be giving to him to fix up things.
Re: Should Siasia be sacked? Posted by Moses oLabambo . A on November 02, 2011 at 06:02:56: Siasia should not be sacked.Yet he has made a costly mistake, he should learn from that. Experience they say 'is the best teacher'. I believe he has something to offer if he is given the chance.Frequent changes of coaches over every match and tournaments is not the best option. He should be encouraged.
