The results for the 2013 Anambra governorship elections have been released by INEC and based on the results, this is a Pie chart representation of how the political parties fared.According to the report by INEC, APGA got the highest votes with 180,178 votes followed by PDP which had 97,700 votes and then closely followed by the APC which got 95963 votes.Anambra state's election doesn't fall into the same time table as other governorship elections being carried out by INEC due to the fact that there was a court case that removed former governor Chris Ngige from power on behalf of Peter Obi. Other parties that trailed far behind were the PPA and the APC which had 5120 and 1670 votes respectively. The election was carried out in 2 stages with the first one carried out on November 16 while a supplementary one was done on November 30, 2013.There was no initial plan to hold a supplementary election but as a result of logistics problem which did not allow some voters to participate, INEC had to do the supplementary election on a Sunday, a day in which some Anambra voters claimed affected with their Obiano has been declared the winner and hence the next governor of Anambra state. Some stats
