During the 2015 Presidential election, I always supported the PDP and Jonathan and really did want him to continue since I didn't want an older man or retired army office as President but from all indications, it appears that while man proposes, it is God who disposes. Many of us Nigerians may have had our plans on who to vote during elections but in the end, it is God's will that will prevail. God puts men into power where and when he wills and in the case of Buhari winning the 2015 election either fairly or unfairly, he was still the person designed to be President by the Lord and we really can't do much about it.As a Christian and Catholic, one man I respect is Father Mbaka of the Enugu Adoration ministry and a Catholic priest. During the run up to the elections, he divined on who will win the elections and even prayed for the PDP candidate but after trying to find out what will happened, he discovered that Jonathan's bird did not fly and so he prophesied that Jonathan was not the anointed one fr 2015. I kind of felt a bit displeased by it but again, had to be careful so that I don't say anything wrong and not become one who was fighting the will of God. Father Mbaka practically prophesied that Jonathan is not the eon people should vote for and the media were happy to carry that news.Another person named Prophet B.B.C. who was probably seeking celebrity status and knowing the feelings of people who were mostly pro-Jonathan in the South East and South South went ahead to release a song titled Mbaka why and it drew a lot of attention from people who ended up buying his CD and watching it on YouTube.I'm still a supported of PDP and think the APC is just a bunch of different people who are still of the same moral background as those in the PDP and the fact that Buhari is now leading them doesn't mean they are angels.Buhari and Jonathan may not be entirely different people but I do believe that in 2014, it was God that chose Buhari to be President. However, the fact that God chooses a leader for his people doesn't mean that he can't reject that person later on or punish the nation for the sins of that person. We Nigerians need to pray for Buhari and whoever becomes the next president that he may always make the best decision because it's not easy to be President of a country like Nigeria without some form of divine help.
