For those who don't already know, there has been for a while, a report published by many media houses about a baby that was born with Quran in his hand. The baby was said to be born on a Christian family living somewhere in Ijesha, Surulere Lagos. Since the news came out, there has been a lot of public showing at the family's residence by religious believers, reporters, onlookers or just pessimists. Not everyone really believed that a baby can be born with a book in his hand but if it did happen, then it's something we would call a supernatural event and a miracle. There has been a couple of stories and myths I've heard about this issue and I just want to share them here.Nigerian Christians and Muslims have different views on the issue and i just want to list them here based on public discussions I have listened to:On the Muslim side:
- The baby is the work of God. A miracle
- It is a sign that the end is near and all must turn to Islam
- Christians should convert to Islam as the family did
- The Quran grows as the child grows
- Islam is the last religion
- There are five of such books in the world and one now is in NigeriaOn the Christian side
- The baby was not really born with a Quran as there is no independent investigation
- The mother's family were never really true Christians
- The mother is a woman of easy virtue and God can't work miracles using her
- The book is not really a Quran and someone may have put it in the baby's hand
- Christianity is the only true religion
- If the baby was really born with the pamphlet, then it could also be the work of evilSo what do you guys think?

Christianity is not a religion, it is the life of God epitomised in man. For the myth story, you can publish anything to sell the papers. Thanks.
