Nigeria has had a successful civilian to civilian transition for a couple of times now and democracy has been sustained for more than 10 years. There has been different political parties from the start and while some came out strong and withered off, some new ones are becoming stronger but there are still some that remain popular among the people. We've seen the performance of presidents, governors and politicians from different political parties so what do you have to say about them?Presidential and governorhip elections in Nigeria normally hold every four years so if you were asked which one you are likely to vote for next if you had the opportunity? Voting for a particular candidate means a vote for a political party and vice versa and that vote simply means that you support their performance and ideals. That is something beautiful about democracy - letting people choose their own leaders. Some voters have been disappointed by the performance of people they voted into power but some people are also satisfied with the performance of their candidates and this is common in Nigeria. I think the best way to really say that a politician in office has done well is when he delivers on his promise and as well fulfills the basic responsibilities attached to his office. There are quite a number political parties in Nigeria such as PDP, ACN, ANPP, APGA, PPA, LP and so on. Which party would you prefer to vote for in the next election?
